THE TEAM
We are a mixed group of windsurfers, surfers and environmentalists dedicated to protect what we love and where we spend most of our time – the ocean. The project is initiated and lead by Florian Jung, a professional windsurfer, who wants to do something against the steadily increasing amount of trash floating around in the ocean.
THE OCEAN IS THE BLUE HEART OF THE PLANET; WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF OUR HEART
Dr. Sylvia Earle, Mission Blue

Florian Jung / ATHLETE
Flo is known for his desire to discover and travel the globe. Being a windsurf pro since 2006, he has established himself among the world’s best windsurfers in the discipline wave.
Besides competing he is know for his extreme adventure stories, such as windsurfing in front of calving glaciers in Alaska. With this special expedition across the Atlantic, he wants to show the devastating consequences of global warming and water pollution, a mandatory duty for each of us if you call the ocean your office, playground, and source of life.

Boujma Guilloul / ATHLETE
Mr Kamikaze is probably the best jumper in the world. He pushed the sport with crazy move creations and breath-taking stunts. Besides that, the friendly Moroccan is a damn good big surfer as well. He just finished the season by wining the precious Aloha Classic in Maui/Hawaii.

Camille Juban / ATHLETE
The two times American champion is known for his unique wave riding style and fearless attitude in the biggest waves on Earth. Whether on a surf, SUP or windsurf board, as long as he rides a wave you‘ll see him smile. Coming from Guadeloupe he is our local expert on our way through the Caribbean.

Dr. Frauke Bagusche / MARINE BIOLOGIST
After living and working as a marine biologist in countries such as Germany, Egypt, Austria, France, the UK and the Maldives, Frauke has recently founded ‘The Blue Mind’ an organization for marine conservation to increase awareness on environmental issues. Adrian Midwood / ATHLETE, ENVIRONMENTALIST
Adrian is the founder and managing director of ‘The Ocean Ambassadors’. A 200 ton ocean Capt and action sports enthusiast, he has spent over half his life chasing perfect winds and waves the world over. Now focused on preserving the ocean, he is building a direct action program in Fiji intended to be replicable in any island nation, to rid themselves of plastic pollution. Building educational programs, designing achievable recycling structure and utilizing commercial utilities to locally process to alternative fuels and other second lifecycle products. With the success of this program, he intends to take this template to all island nations and STOP plastic from entering our oceans for good.
